In todays fast-evolving marketplace, building a strong brand is no longer optional it is a strategic necessity. This course, Brand Management: From Brand DNA to Market Execution, is designed to equip participants with the skills to build, manage, and scale brands that stand out and deliver real business impact.
Blending proven FMCG brand management frameworks with modern digital-first strategies, the course offers a highly practical, case-based learning experience. Participants will work on real-world brand challenges, analyse successful local and global brands, and develop actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately.
Unlike traditional theory-heavy programs, this course focuses on hands-on application. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a complete brand toolkit, including positioning, brand architecture, campaign strategy, and a go-to-market plan. Whether you are building a startup, managing a brand, or transitioning into marketing, this course will enable you to think like a brand strategist and execute like a growth leader.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, the students should be able to:
Understand brand foundations: explain the concept of a brand and its role in business success, and analyse brand elements including persona, positioning, and architecture.
Develop a brand strategy: create a clear brand positioning statement, design a Brand Key / Brand Architecture framework aligned with target audience needs, and identify competitive differentiation through structured analysis.
Plan and execute brand communication: develop integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels, craft compelling brand messaging and storytelling, and design promotion strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Apply brand performance measurement techniques: evaluate brand performance using brand health trackers, consumer insights, and basic retail and digital metrics, and interpret data to make informed brand decisions.
Build and manage digital-first brands: design content strategies for social and digital platforms, utilize influencer and community-building strategies, and adapt brand strategies for digital-native audiences.
Diagnose, solve, and plan: conduct a brand audit to identify gaps and opportunities, recommend solutions for underperforming brands, and develop a complete brand plan (positioning, Brand Key, campaign strategy, content plan, performance metrics) as a capstone deliverable.

Application Process:
Participants must register online through the CES website by clicking on their desired course and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have the following:
- A passport-sized photograph for the CES smartcard. It should be against a white background.
- Correct CNIC details.
Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards cancellation of your enrolment at any stage, and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.
Once you have completed your online registration, you may proceed to the payment section. You have two options:
1. Pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system??https://pay.lums.edu.pk
2. Download the fee voucher and deposit cash in any branch of the designated banks specified on the fee voucher.
Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours, and your payment status will be updated to "ENROLLED" in the online application portal.

Note: CES may cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the university will refund registration/processing fee (if any) but will not be responsible for any other related charges/expenses including cancellation/change charges by airline and travel agencies.
