Overview:
This Professional Development Program is a hands-on training designed for professional accountants, auditors and others who want to develop their technical skills in the digital world. It is based on a unique live simulation-based pedagogical approach. In this program, participants will perform data analytics by employing Artificial Intelligence technologies i.e. Machine Learning using real time financial and operational data of the organization to generate insights and use those in accounting and audit engagements to achieve the project objectives.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training course, participants will:
Understand the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in data analytics for audit
Learn the fundamentals of Python programming for data analytics
Understand the differences between supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, and be able to apply them for accounting and audit data analytics using Python libraries such as scikit-learn
Gain an understanding of the concepts and techniques of deep learning, and be able to implement deep learning algorithms for accounting and audit data analytics using Python libraries such as TensorFlow
Understanding data visualization techniques using python libraries
Apply AI-based solutions to real-world accounting and audit data, and gain practical experience in developing data analytics solutions using machine learning and deep learning techniques
Understand best practices and ethical considerations for implementing AI-based solutions in audit, including data privacy and security, bias and fairness, and transparency.
Who should Attend?
This course is designed for students and professionals who want to learn and apply the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for data analytics in their work. It is ideal for internal auditors, external auditors, financial analysts, risk management professionals, compliance officers, and anyone including who wants to gain hands-on experience in using AI for data analytics.
Participants should have a basic understanding of accounting and audit concepts and techniques, as well as some experience in basic data evaluation. However, no prior experience in using Python or AI is required as the course will cover the fundamentals of both.

Application Process:
Participants must register online through the CES website by clicking on their desired course and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have the following:
- A passport-sized photograph for the CES smartcard. It should be against a white background.
- Correct CNIC details.
Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards cancellation of your enrolment at any stage, and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.
Once you have completed your online registration, you may proceed to the payment section. You have two options:
1. Pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system https://pay.lums.edu.pk
2. Download the fee voucher and deposit cash in any branch of the designated banks specified on the fee voucher.
Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours, and your payment status will be updated to "ENROLLED" in the online application portal.
Installment:

Note: CES may cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the university will refund registration/processing fee (if any) but will not be responsible for any other related charges/expenses including cancellation/change charges by airline and travel agencies.
