Pre-requisite: Please also note that each of the participants will need to have an active Claude Pro subscription and are required to bring their laptop with them.

Course Overview:

Claude for Professionals is a two-day, hands-on program for working professionals who want to use Claude not just to chat, but to build, analyse, and create. The program assumes no technical background. Participants spend most of their time at the keyboard, working alongside the trainer through structured exercises and real-world scenarios that leverage the capabilities for which Claude is best known.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

• Explain in accessible terms how Claude works and what makes Anthropics approach distinctive.

• Engineer prompts and context with a structured anatomy and iterative recipe, applying advanced techniques and Extended Thinking to steer Claude on complex tasks.

• Draft, edit, translate, summarise, and critique professional writing across genres.

• Build interactive artefacts in chat and produce polished documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and PDFs through Claudes built-in Skills.

• Run end-to-end data analysis and visualization, and analyze visual content including charts, diagrams, and OCR.

• Connect Claude to existing tools through the Model Context Protocol, choose the right model for a task, and use it responsibly with appropriate privacy settings and verification.

Application Process:

Participants must register online through the CES website by clicking on their desired course and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have the following:

- A passport-sized photograph for the CES smartcard. It should be against a white background.

- Correct CNIC details.

Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards cancellation of your enrolment at any stage, and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.

Once you have completed your online registration, you may proceed to the payment section. You have two options:

1. Pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system https://pay.lums.edu.pk

2. Download the fee voucher and deposit cash in any branch of the designated banks specified on the fee voucher.

Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours, and your payment status will be updated to "ENROLLED" in the online application portal.

Note: CES may cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the university will refund registration/processing fee (if any) but will not be responsible for any other related charges/expenses including cancellation/change charges by airline and travel agencies.
