1.Game Development: Tools and Processes
This module will talk about various tools that are available for generating computer animations and game development. The module will have a detailed discussion on the methods and tools used in game development. The module will cover the process book starting from 3D character rig, scripting, character description, storyboarding, planning, data capturing, and final edits.
The module will cover as game development aspects related to scene construction, input handling, interfaces & shortcuts, object placement, logic and behavior, visual & sound effects, enemy logic and physics simulation.
3. Motion Capturing System (Mocap)
This module of the course will cover history of motion capturing, types of mocap systems, introduction to marker-based strategies, subject preparation, system calibration, capture pipeline, pre-processing, and data post-processing. The module will also cover full body motion capturing, hand mocap, facial mocap, lower and upper body motion capturing.
4.Integration and Pipeline Automation
This module will empower the participant to automate and build their own continuous integration pipelines, which result in a fast-paced development and deployment process. This module will enable the participants from diverse backgrounds to quickly ship their product features through the automated continuous deployment process. The game development requires tests to be run and all edge cases catered for. The module will, therefore, teach how automated tests are run as an integrated process once the feature is shipped. The module will also focus on monitoring, scalability, and resilience of the system.
5.Lessons Learnt and Future hints
This module will provide the participants with an opportunity to know the processes developed and implemented in an industrial setup to automate the development and deployment process. The secrets about tailoring the game development systems to cater for the current and future needs to meet the specified goals will be revealed. The art of making a game to capture the market trends will also be shared in this module with the participants.

Participants must register online through CES website by clicking on their desired course and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have a formal scanned picture (for CES smart card) and CNIC details. Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead towards cancellation of your enrolment at any stage and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.
Once you have completed your online registration for your desired course, you may proceed to payment section. You have the option to pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system https://pay.lums.edu.pk OR by downloading the fee vouchers and depositing cash in any branch of designated banks specified on the fee voucher. Once you make your payment, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours and your payment status will be updated to "PAID" in the online application portal.
